Legalization of marijuana is a good idea despite the fact thousands of illegal immigrants farm marijuana on the west coast. Billions of dollars are made every year in the united states in marijuana sales, but it is not taxed. This financial problem is a recurring issue.
*My point is that the legalization of marijuana will provide a huge source of tax revenue for the entire country and help ICE stem the use of illegal immigrants farming marijuana.
*To put it another way, legalizing marijuana will provide billions of dollars of tax reveue for the states and the country. Also it will provide incentive to legal marijuana growers not to hire illegal immigrants for fear of losing their license.
