My Ascention

After years of living in debt I finally decided to become semi- debt free. Over 90% of my income went to just paying the minimum on my debt and bills. At first it was just a dream because everyone I knew was in debt somehow. My goal was to eliminate all of my six credit cards, one care note and one high interest loan totaling over $30,000. I was disgusted with myself for allowing it to get so far. I felt like a slave to debt and a host of material things that I could not even remember why I bought them.
It took several years but I eventually paid off all of my debt and closed all of my old accounts. I sold my new car and paid cash for a reliable which I ended up driving for eight years. As I traveled through my journey to “debt freeness” I attempted to enlighten others as to my revelation, it was met with a lot of skepticism and to this day I still meet people who refute my philosophy.
It is my goal to become more aware of not just the historical, but the social importance of the Patton Museum and the Armor Memorial Park.
