As I approached the front of the building and walked pass the sign I could not help but notice the pristinely cut grass and low statured trimmed hedges. The sign itself was mounted on two black metal posts that stood about six feet high. The sign’s look and design were adamantly professional nature in with contrasting colors of light and medium gray for background with orange and light gray lettering that stood out in a bold Arial font.
Less than ten feet to the right of the sign was another less flattering yet temporary sign that informed you that the museum was presently undergoing a major renovation.
The heat from the sun radiated from the asphalt live a hot oven, the humidity was enough to make you want to find a nice cool shade tree to take pictures and take in the sights. The exterior of the building was modern looking with slightly tinted windows that were double stacked and spanned a good ten feet in height. A tall steel flag pole which held the American flag stood front of the the building like a vigilant sentinel.
