I believe that the author was trying to give us a perspective from the townsfolk on how they felt about the movie and how it portrayed them. She gave a great many perspectives, many of the townsfolk could relate and shared positive view points some of the townsfolk did not think that the depiction of the town was accurate, they believed that the movie made them look backwards, hicks and undeveloped. I believed that she got were oral first hand accounts since there was a lot of quoting in the story from many different point of views. I also believe that she wanted us to she the present day town and how the fame has affected it both positive and negative.
I believe that she used B since she put their quotes, how the townsfolk felt about the move and the way it portrayed their town..
